This type of condition can be caused by many different things, but generally, when you reach these stages of chronic liver disease, your medical treatment options are very limited. That is why it is so important to catch liver failure early in the inflammation and scarring stages.

Hepatic failure, as the name suggests, is not due to any organ failing. It is a medical condition in which there is no functioning of a specific organ (the liver) or where it is not functioning properly.

Most people with liver problems experience fever and jaundice. These two symptoms should be looked at very closely as they are very difficult to differentiate from symptoms of other diseases. Jaundice can be a sign of a kidney infection and can also occur after having a severe infection. The same can be said for fever. Sometimes, jaundice may not show up until the condition is severe.

Liver failure symptoms include anemia, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, weight loss, and an elevated protein level in the urine.

If a person has anemia, this is a serious concern because it can mean that there is a problem with the liver and/or the blood supply to the liver. When a person has a low level of proteins in their urine, this is a sign that there is inflammation in the liver and should be checked out by a doctor. In the event that there is no pain or swelling in the upper abdominal area, this means that it is likely that the liver is working properly, but that there are some underlying health concerns.

Symptoms of acute liver failure should include jaundice, bleeding gums or mucous in the mouth, abdominal pain, cramping, fatigue, loss of energy, and anemia. If a person has anemia, there will be decreased levels of platelet and red blood cells. If someone has anemia due to chronic liver problems, this is considered to be an acute situation and is often times not fatal.

A chronic liver failure, or ALDF, can last a long time without being fully recognized. The longer that a person with ALDF goes untreated, the more serious the condition will become and the more severe the problems will be.

As liver problems become more serious, the body becomes more prone to infection. Infection can cause the liver to fail. Once a person with a chronic liver failure has developed cirrhosis of the liver, he or she will need to take more serious measures to treat the infection and make sure that it does not become worse.

Another more serious complication can arise if a person is not able to recognize that they have a serious complication of their liver.
